Con el giro de $12.055 millones que realizó la Gobernación del Tolima a la Administración de Valle de San Juan, el Alcalde de este municipio, Henry Lugo, ya puede iniciar el proceso licitatorio para la construcción del Megacolegio que será la sede principal de la Institución Educativa Juan Lasso de la Vega.
El anuncio de este giro por parte del Gobernador de los tolimenses, Ricardo Orozco Valero, en su visita del pasado sábado 10 de julio a ese municipio, hace parte de una serie de inversiones en diferentes sectores, que ascienden a $24.000 millones, las cuales fueron ratificadas por el primer mandatario departamental. Sectores como agua potable, educación, infraestructura vial, gas natural rural y proyectos productivos están recibiendo la intervención del Gobierno del Tolima. En ese sentido, Orozco Valero acuñó la siguiente frase para resaltar los logros allí generados: “Me complace venir a Valle de San Juan, no en el marco de las promesas sino en el marco de los resultados. Me llena de alegría saber que estamos cumpliendo”.
EL MEGACOLEGIO JUAN LASSO DE LA VEGA
El Secretario de Educación y Cultura del Tolima, Julián Fernando Gómez Rojas, integrante de la comitiva departamental que visitó a Valle de San Juan, explicó que la moderna institución, cuya construcción comienza en pocos días, podrá albergar a 800 estudiantes. “Esta es una inversión para nuestros niños y niñas de este municipio. Está garantizada la financiación de la totalidad de la obra, que se va a ejecutar en un plazo máximo de 12 meses”, puntualizó.
El jefe de la cartera educativa entregó detalles de la estructura del Megacolegio: “En un área de más de 3.384 M2 se construirán 20 aulas, de las cuales dos estarán destinadas a la formación de los niños en preescolar, seis aulas serán para básica primaria, doce aulas en dónde se brindará educación a los jóvenes de bachillerato, un aula múltiple, cocina, área administrativa, un módulo especial polivalente para los laboratorios y un espacio amplio para una biblioteca”; reseñó Gómez Rojas.
