Ruta STEM es una iniciativa del Gobierno Nacional que certificará a 20 mil docentes del país en pensamiento computacional y tecnológico.
Con el fin de impulsar el interés de los niños, niñas, adolescentes, jóvenes, docentes y comunidades del país en las ciencias de la computación, así como su vinculación a procesos de formación, entrenamiento y generación de habilidades en el área de la tecnología, específicamente formación STEM (Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería y Matemáticas por sus siglas en inglés), el Ministerio de las Tecnologías de las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones, en conjunto con el Ministerio de Educación Nacional y Computadores para Educar, desarrolló una estrategia basada en Rutas de Aprendizaje, que integran diversos escenarios de formación que permiten alcanzar habilidades como pensamiento crítico, creatividad y pensamiento computacional. Esta estrategia, denominada “Ruta STEM”, tiene como objetivo habilitar escenarios para afrontar la cuarta revolución industrial (4RI) a través del fortalecimiento del talento humano desde el enfoque STEM. Adicionalmente, y con el objetivo de fortalecer la educación abierta, se implementarán estrategias que posibilitan el desarrollo de competencias desde un acompañamiento virtual directo que brinde una mayor cobertura y por tanto, un escenario que propicie el cierre de brechas y herramientas para transformar el aula desde la flexibilización curricular, el abordaje de habilidades del siglo XXI y procesos de investigación escolar.
Por lo anterior, la Dirección de Economía Digital de MinTIC, la Oficina de Innovación Educativa del Ministerio de Educación Nacional y Computadores para Educar, con el propósito de fortalecer la formación del talento humano con habilidades digitales y propendiendo por una mayor cobertura nacional, han acordado conformar un banco de docentes elegibles, que se postulen de manera voluntaria y decidida para abanderar los proyectos y replicarlos en sus establecimientos educativos, promoviendo el desarrollo de competencias del siglo XXI que impacten y beneficien a más estudiantes del país. El objetivo es inspirar a los docentes a desarrollar estrategias de innovación y apropiación digital con enfoque de educación STEM, que permitirán acercar a la comunidad educativa a la ciencia y la tecnología. Esta estrategia les abrirá un camino de cursos que los llevará a conformar una Ruta de Aprendizaje, en la que paso a paso irán profundizando en los temas que se enmarcan en la educación STEM. Los docentes estarán acompañados por tutores virtuales quienes guiarán y orientarán todo el proceso formativo.

Objetivo:
Conformar un banco de docentes elegibles del sector oficial que permita identificar los interesados en formarse en el enfoque educativo STEM (Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería y Matemáticas, por sus siglas en inglés), en procura de contribuir al desarrollar habilidades del Siglo XXI tales como el pensamiento crítico y computacional, la creatividad y la resolución de problemas a través del uso y apropiación de la ciencia y la tecnología.
Dirigida a:
Docentes en servicio activo del sector oficial nacional, que pertenezcan a diferentes áreas, en especial a las áreas de: tecnología e informática, matemáticas y ciencias (naturales y sociales) en los niveles de educación básica (primaria y secundaria) y educación media, ubicados en Establecimientos Educativos de zonas rurales y urbanas. La clasificación de los establecimientos educativos será verificada por el Ministerio de Educación y Computadores para Educar, según el Directorio Único de Establecimientos DUE.

Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to ensure blind users visiting with screen-readers are able to read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions. Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even when updating the website. In this process, we provide screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, we provide accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups), and others.
