Con una inversión de más de $240 millones de pesos la Cooperativa de Maestros y Empleados de la Educación del Tolima, ratifica su compromiso por mejorar las condiciones escolares en el departamento.
Ibagué, 2 de agosto de 2024. Encontrar grandes aliados en la tarea de dar soluciones a las necesidades que presentan las 212 instituciones educativas del Tolima es de gran importancia y, Coopentol ha demostrado a lo largo de su historia ser uno de ellos.
Con una inversión de $246 millones de pesos, esta cooperativa distribuirá en 58 instituciones educativas de 30 municipios del departamento mobiliario escolar, elementos tecnológicos, material didáctico y menaje que fortalecerá el aprendizaje y el desarrollo integral de nuestros estudiantes.
Entre las beneficiadas se encuentra la I.E. Marco Fidel Suárez de Coello, que ahora contará con material pedagógico y menaje para el restaurante escolar, beneficiando alrededor de 500 estudiantes. Para su rector Héctor Marulanda, “estas ayudas son muy importantes para mejorar el bienestar educativo de nuestra comunidad”
Al evento de entrega asistió la gobernadora Adriana Magali Matíz, quien aprovechó la oportunidad para agradecer y felicitar a la Coopemtol por su labor. Pero además envió un mensaje a los rectores que hicieron presencia: _“he sido consciente que la educación es el motor del cambio y que ese motor del cambio, necesita unas mejoras sustanciales. Nosotros no podemos seguir en el siglo XXI teniendo el mismo programa de formación que se usaba en el usaba en el siglo XVII. Tenemos que innovar, tenemos que cambiar, pero eso no lo podemos hacer nosotros solos, los necesitamos a ustedes para que nos ayuden en esa tarea”, puntualizó la mandataria.
Es de destacar que, a lo largo de su historia esta cooperativa ha hecho importantes aportes a la educación por más de $16 mil millones. _”Los maestros y rectores nos hacen notas y nosotros los estamos visitando en las veredas en los municipios y vemos la necesidad. Así mismo hacemos una selección y les vamos ayudando poco a poco. Queremos cumplir con este mandato solidario que es una parte filosófica muy importante de la cooperariva de maestros”, comentó Julián Gómez.
Labores como estas impulsan a seguir construyendo un mejor futuro para los niños, niñas y jóvenes del Tolima porque cuando se trabaja en equipo, suceden grandes cosas.
“La responsabilidad que tenemos todos nosotros es este momento es poder cambiar las personas que esperamos cambien el mundo”, concluyó diciendo Matiz.
